I was lucky enough to have gold, silver, and copper specialty papers in my scrapbooking bin, along with some gold doily hearts for Valentine's that never got used. They made great wings for this 8 x 10 picture! Some beautiful bronze chiffon for the skirt and a touch of gold glitter paint for the necklace completed my metallic fairy costume. Won't she shine!
I held off making a fairy dress until now, because I didn't want the challenge to include only fairy dresses! Fairies are an obsession of mine, and they could easily overwhelm this challenge if I let them. But I want to leave my options wide open each day and not restrict them.
