Another of my favorite tops, this one makes a nice wrap dress for my granddaughter. It's actually two layers: the black cami and the ruffled overtop, which on a little girl becomes a slip and fancy wrap dress! The attitude is extra -- and very much my granddaughter!

My youngest granddaughter wears another of my tops for dress up. This is one of my own designs and was featured in the 2011 Nauvoo Area Fashion Show. On a little girl, the ruffles at the neck and wrists really look awesome!
We had fun today dressing up in Nana's clothes. This is one of my favorite tunics. Doesn't it make a great dress for my granddaughter? With it she wears my antique hat. So gorgeous! I wish it looked this awesome on me! *grin*
This week in class we added our text to our character to make up our ad for our chosen company. We also had to tweak our logo to make it appear more realistic and cohesive. I think she turned out very well. She certainly looks inviting to me! What do you think? Would you shop at this nursery if you saw this ad?
We took the girls out for pizza at our favorite local gluten-free pizza joint -- Shakespeare's Pizza! They taught us something new while we were there. The cooks will toss pizza dough balls to kids so they can roll their own pizzas for fun while they wait for theirs to cook. So the girls played with them for awhile at our table, then asked me to make a dress from one of the balls. Here's my strapless ballgown, which my eldest granddaughter said was gorgeous! She's my best fan!
My online class is teaching me fun things to do with text in Photoshop, and this dress is one of the results. I chose different words for "dress" in several languages, then arranged them, warped them, and rotated them to make this fun and colorful dress. Can you recognize all the languages I used?
It had to happen sooner or later. We go through so many of these guys every week, and we always recycle the empties. So it had to be that someday I wouldn't be able to resist playing with them to make a dress. And today was that day! *grin* This simple summer gown really looks nice done in the clear and blue of our favorite water bottling company. The dress turned out as cool and refreshing as the water!
These peppermints are awesome! I ran out a while ago and just had to restock so that I'd have them on hand. They're not only made with xylitol instead of sugar (which is great for those of us with sugar issues), but they are perfect for when you have an upset stomach because they're made with real peppermint oil, which cures that problem within minutes. They're called Nature's Sweet Life Xylitol Mints and can be purchased from any Nature's Sunshine dealer. White isn't a color I wear much because I always seem to stain it somehow, but I would wear this lovely drape neck gown for any evening occasion and take the risk anyway. Life is short -- you can't be too cautious to live it!
I've wanted to do a gummy bears dress for some time, but we don't ever buy those so I always forget at the store. But the neighbor lady loves to spoil the girls, so she sent over some Tinkerbell gummies for them the other day. Naturally, the girls let me play with them before they ate them. Yea! This is a fun dress in cheerful colors. I wish I'd had more gummies so that I could have added sleeves. (I'll bet the girls wish there were more gummies too, but for a different reason!)
The girls begged Mommy for this cereal last time we were at the store, so of course I had to play with them! I love the colors and the abstract print they make for the dress. The white marshmallow trim adds a lovely touch to the drape neck and fly-away hem too. Who would have thought that a breakfast cereal could look so good?
