Today I finally got my four tiny fairy dresses into their own display case on the wall. I found a country style shadowbox frame at my local secondhand store and thought it would be perfect for my four fairy tile dresses. However, the openings were just barely too small, so once I got it repainted a more fairy color than soldier blue, I tried out my tiny 3x3" dresses in the cubbyholes. They fit just right with a gold tissue matting. Yea!

I have always wanted to create a fourth fairy dress tile for my series, and today I did. I used a lovely white textured tissue paper on a favorite red 4x4" tile. Her wings are almost feathery like an angel's, but she's not. She's a fairy. Her flowing gown is gossamer and off-the-shoulder, with an inset in the V-neckline of the bodice. The dress hem has raw edges and is handkerchief style with a train. Isn't she a lovely fairy?
