I wish I had the right backdrop for this dress; something other than our scarred dining room table. It's so pretty it deserves a better setting. The photo doesn't really do it justice, but the glass baubles shone as I made this design. Using some soft green baubles, I made the trim at the hem and neckline. It turned out to be such a delightful and fresh dress for summer! Now I want one, but I haven't figured out how to work with such a reflective (and sheer!) fabric. Maybe I shouldn't be so literal. A shimmery chiffon or silk would do. What do you think?
