One of the many things I've been enjoying about this challenge is the opportunity to try out ideas I would never have pursued before. These creative works of silhouette art are completely new to me -- and I'm loving how beautiful they turn out! I'm not usually surprised by what comes out of me, but these pieces have absolutely amazed me. I didn't know they were in there! I can't wait to see what other treasures are hiding inside awaiting their chance to be created! Woo-hoo! Looking forward to 2012!
Once more I took to the stars to create a stunning work of art. This gorgeous nebula looks like the eye of a particularly fierce dragon, and who do dragons desire most? Princesses! I chose this demure medieval princess silhouette for the focus of this dragon's thoughts. I titled it "Dragon's Eye." I'm so pleased with how it turned out! Feel free to download this image for your wallpaper or print it out for your wall. Just don't try to sell it on Ebay. NASA holds the copyright on this nebula's picture.

Denise FeltI took this challenge in the hopes of expanding my creativity as an artist. Already I'm seeing art in a new light -- as something to do for fun and not just practicality! Archives
