Sometimes a dress project takes longer than expected and doesn't get completed in one day. When that happens, I find myself scrambling to come up with a design idea late in the evening. It's a good thing there's always food around. When I'm completely swamped and focused on a project that won't get finished in time, I go play with food. I can't tell you how liberating that is. I never played with my food before this challenge. Now it seems like I'm doing it all the time. Woo-hoo! Having fun here!!!
My granddaughters and I are cheese-meisters. We seriously love cheese. So was my daughter until she found out a lot of her stomach troubles came from eating dairy. So now the times that the rest of us get cheese are very few and far between. But when we do -- yum, yum! This sweet golden mini dress was designed from a slice of cheese just before that slice was consumed by me. I would love to have a dress like this one. I'd wear it with leggings and a really fun scarf. And I'd have a tasty snack with me wherever I went! *grin*

Denise FeltI took this challenge in the hopes of expanding my creativity as an artist. Already I'm seeing art in a new light -- as something to do for fun and not just practicality! Archives
