Glimpses Dress
This Hubble photo of a supernova reminded me very much of the Guardian of Forever in the Star Trek:TOS series. I superimposed the shadowy figure of this Victorian lady on the photo, making it look like she can be glimpsed as you look into the Guardian's shifting images of time. I call this creation "Glimpse into the Past," which is fitting since the supernova itself exploded centuries ago and is only now able to be seen by our Hubble telescope. It almost looks like we're catching the lady in a contemplative moment here; as if she might turn her head at any second and notice our regard through the portal across time. I wonder what she'd think of us? As always with these prints, feel free to download or print it off for yourself. Just don't sell it, because I don't own the copyrights for the Hubble shot.
